Sometimes, you just find yourself free. You can't really put the feeling in words - it's a sensation of liberation, serenity, peacefulness ... like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. You can't really put your finger on when it happened, or how either. You just know it happened.
The recent snowfalls in Brussels seem to have ignited this feeling in me. Or it could have been there already and they just brought it to the fore. All I know is that every time I feel a snowflake rest on my nose, lips or lashes, my face beams with the broadest of smiles and I feel this beautiful, invigorating feeling inside. It's like I'm a child again and the world becomes the most wondrous thing ever, all mine to explore.
