Photo diary: Paris, January 2019

I think this may be the third or fourth photo diary from Paris that I'm publishing since I started this blog, despite not being too long ago. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the city holds a certain magnetic pull for me which keeps me going back without any hesitation. I don't know if it's the fact that after all these visits it has become 'familiar' as a city, a sort of comfort zone ... I sometimes feel like I know it as well as Sliema (MT) or Brussels (BE), my two hometowns - I was recently watching some news footage and could recognise the street and reminisce what shops or interesting doorways are found there ... That being said, what amazes me is that every time I go, I manage to find something new to see or do, be it through an organized event or even just walking along its streets. And even though I do not, right now, have an exact plan and itinerary for my next visit to the city of lights - I usually leave Paris with train tickets for another visit already in hand - I know that before long, I'll be traipsing its enthralling cobblestones before long.
