Travel capsule wardrobe

I can't ever imagine myself living out of a capsule wardrobe on a daily basis but oddly enough, I've been adopting the capsule approach when travelling way before the concept of capsule wardrobe became cool. I know this sounds like I'm boasting or bluffing, but I'm old enough to have seen most of the current trends come to life (and some die and come to life again - neon? pfft, I rocked it when I was ten but please on't ask when that was!)
Anyhow, I'm digressing.
So as my Easter trip to the homeland is coming closer, and with an easy Sunday morning to dedicate to planning and packing, I thought of documenting my outfits and how I go about deciding what to take with me. For the sake of expediency, I'm not going to link any item - I believe you've seen most of them if not all already and the point here is to show how items in our wardrobe can be worn together in different ways, making them always feel like a new outfit. That being said, if you would like details on any of the specific items, just drop me a line and I'll gladly get back to you.
Destination:
I'm going to Malta - traditional feasts are to be spent with family in my books - and while the weather is much milder than here in Brussels, I still need to allow for sudden temperature fluctuations.
Events:
None other than some much needed coffee dates with friends so as such my 'dress code' is quite casual with a classic approach to keep it looking sharp and not too slouchy. Still, if anything more dressy does come along, I feel I can certainly wear the smarter ensembles from the options below. (I'll also have my work outfit as I'll be travelling straight from work so I can always opt for something that blends in with my packing).
Colour palette:
I'm obviously including loads of beige and also black - it's all very neutral and classic, and that's I feel a fundamental element of capsule wardrobes. All of the 10 separates I'm packing can be worn together in multiple combinations. All of the 10 outfits I've created below are quite simple and more on the classic side but one can certainly mix the stripes and animal print or houndstooth if they're more audacious than yours truly.
What I'm packing:
2 blazers - both longer length with one thicker than the other in case of colder days, a short sleeve statement tee, a 3/4 sleeve striped tee, a light knit, a cashmere knit, 2 pairs of jeans, 1 animal print skirt, 1 neutral and 1 'pop of colour' handbag, a pair of sneakers and a pair of ballerina flats (I don't pack heels unless I'm attending a formal event!). Of course, one can't skip the accessories which can be worn with anything and a good scarf to keep me warm should there be the need. I'll also have some sportswear - always in the hope I'll be in the mood for some exercise!

10 separates - 10 outfits:

I do have to apologies for the quality of today's photos but it was a very candid, organic, let me snap a few pictures with my phone kind of thing ... I hope you have enjoyed this styling post and please let me know if you want others like this ... or if there are other combinations I'm not seeing with these 10 separates!
